DE LA VEGA on FREE BOY GEORGE

CITY CIGAR LIFE, thank you for the opportunity to share the FREE BOY GEORGE campaign with your supporters.

My name is DE LA VEGA and a team of us are working to FREE BOY GEORGE from a lifetime prison sentence. Boy George was arrested on drug charges when he was 23 years old and is now 44. At the time of his trial, THE BOY GEORGE OBSESSION CASE http://law.justia.com/cases/federal/appellate-courts/F2/971/876/71834/ was a high profile drug case because Boy George was already considered a young 'street legend'.

THE BOY GEORGE STORY - http://www.gorillaconvict.com/george-boy-george-rivera-2/.

George inspired a powerful New York Times bestseller, RANDOM FAMILY by Adrian Nicole LeBlanc. It is a must read for every student in America.
In the 80's, drugs were a part of the Bronx reality. Everyone was exposed. Many young people glorified the rich drug dealer and to so many, like Tony Montana in SCARFACE, he was an inspiration. There was little guidance, education, employment, and naturally... many young people turned to easy money.
It is our belief that Boy George, like so many other young Black and Latino youth, was set up by a government controlled drug business.

Hollywood poisonous capitalist philosophies are also to blame for so many deteriorating neighborhoods.

Boy George was introduced to the drug business and lavish lifestyle by a police informant. He was set up from the very beginning for a life in prison.
FACT: A young man without clear thinking mentors, will make bad decisions in the face of government business schemes.

Boy George has already done 20+ years in prison. Today, he spends 23 hours a day in a supermax prison known as ADX FLORENCE. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/ADX_Florence.
ADX FLORENCE is considered an inhumane institution and many inmates have gone insane.

First, the government, allows drugs to enter poor Black and Latino communities and then punishes them for selling it.

This is a modern day slave trap!

Harsh drug laws and America's prisons are out of control. Prison institutions are a culture that destroy the human spirit without any desire to build human beings so that they can be of service to humanity.

Join us as we work to FREE BOY GEORGE from a lifetime prison sentence. Our goal is to have George work as a motivational speaker and mentor, much like Freeway Ricky Ross is doing today.

Freeway Ricky Ross, Shyne Po and many others have been actively working to raise awareness of the FREE BOY GEORGE campaign.

We are also working on building a powerful legal team since George has already been denied freedom multiple times.

We need lawyers, bloggers, artists, teachers, celebrities, students, and elected government officials involved. Help share his story. It is a powerful American story. We also suggest you read and encourage others to read RANDOM FAMILY.

Follow this movement on Twitter @DELAVEGAPROPHET and @Boy007George.
I'm sure no mother, regardless of the crime, does not want to see their child spend a lifetime in prison at the expense of government schemes.

This is a tall mountain. We believe freedom, justice, and understanding are always triumphant.

  6. This man has spent half of his life in prison (21 years). Apparently, he has spent a good amount of that time at ADX which, yes, is a cleaner version of hell. The sad part is, with all that being true, I have not a doubt in my mind that if this guy was released on humanitarian grounds, he would be selling drugs by the end of the week. These guys always have a great sob story and on the few occasions where it regains them they're freedom, very rarely do they not...

  7. Immediately return to criminal activity. Furthermore, the whole "he was set up by the government's drug conspiracy" bullshit is a cop out. I notice you failed to mention the 10s of people he had murdered on his command. These drug kingpins in the 80s were pretty much all serial killers by proxy. The man didn't get life just for selling drugs, he killed a lot of people, too.

  9. He wasn't a very nice person. Very smart young guy.. But he was EXTREMELY ruthless. I think he should be free.. But.. He was far from nice, obv he was a crime figure, but he lacked respect for humanity as a whole.

  12. I just finished reading the very compelling book "Tandom Family." The book is very educational and eye opening; one that young adults should read to further understand the reality of survival in the ghetto. I looked George up to read more of his story and am interested to know where he is in his Spiritual journey in his world in which he finds himself due to injustices done to others.

  13. Boy George was a dispicable killer who sold drugs to thousandths of minority people which in turn lead to their deaths using the poison he peddled! Life for him was a joke and he deserved a needle in his arm! True latinos work hard at a job or attend college to improve their lives! Obtaining "blood" money is a cop out and Boy George will have the rest of his natural life to think about all the murders he orders just so he could have a 190E Mercedes Benz and wore the piece of shit jewelry so many of these low life hoodlums wear!
